Edmonton blog roundup: Yeggies edition

So I’ve been so busy this week teaching a course about social media and blogging that I haven’t had time to read all of the Edmonton blogs I usually read. Sad irony. However, this gives me an excuse to shine a light on the terrific work nominated for the Edmonton New Media Awards, aka the Yeggies.

The nominees for the 2014 Yeggies were chosen from among 300 submissions. I’m pleased the list includes many of the blogs that I have rounded up in this space since last May. I’m just as pleased to discover new destinations for my new-media-loving eyes.

This year’s ceremony takes place May 9 at La Cité francophone (8627 rue Marie-Anne Gaboury). Tickets go on sale in April.

I made a Flipboard magazine of the nominees, so you can study up before the event.

I’m hoping to return to my regularly scheduled curation of the ShareEdmonton blogs feed next week.
