Episode 7: Sharon Yeo

sharon yeoMeet Sharon Yeo, the woman behind Only Here for the Food, one of Edmonton’s great food blogs, and the co-founder of What the Truck?!, the food-truck festival that has had a huge impact on the food scene and on the city’s sense of community.

Like many bloggers, Sharon started because she liked to write and this seemed like a good way to get to do that. She is unusual in that she has been at it for so long — about 10 years — and so consistently. You can count on her Food Notes every Monday without fail, and in between time she recaps and comments on various adventures in the increasingly vibrant world of local food.

The final What the Truck?! food festival of the season takes place Sept. 11 at Churchill Square. It will be the biggest one yet, with 35 trucks scheduled to be there.
