Seen and Heard in Edmonton podcast: Episode 1

Meet Michelle Peters-Jones, the woman behind The Tiffin Box, a blog full of food and memories that has opened all kinds of doors for her (and has made me cry on several occasions — true story).

The Tiffin Box has been shortlisted for one of Taste Canada’s 2015 Food Writing Awards, which Liane Faulder wrote about in the Edmonton Journal. Michelle also writes for Food Bloggers of Canada, and is a proud and active member of Edmonton’s food blogger community.

Michelle mentioned a ton of local food blogs that she loves, including two that are new to me — Kitchen Frau and Julie’s Kitchen Adventures — plus a whole lot that you can find in ShareEdmonton‘s food blogs feed.

You can find The Tiffin Box on Facebook, and follow Michelle on Twitter: @michpetersjones.

The podcast was recorded in the makerspace at the Edmonton Public Library. The music is from Beethoven’s Sonata No. 1 in F Minor, Op. 2 No. 1, played by Daniel Veesey and shared under a Creative Commons licence.
